How To Use Aspirin To Treat Pimples

The medicine you take readily when you have headaches or migraines, Aspirin has a number of other benefits for our body as well. For instance, if there is a pimple on your face that just came out of nowhere and you have no cream or remedy with you then you can use aspirin to treat that pimple and make it go away. Here are some ways you can use aspirin to get rid of a pimple. But be sure not to use too much of this as it thins your blood as well.

1. Aspirin and Water

How To:
Take a couple of aspirin tablets and crush them in a mortar and pestle to make a fine powder.
Add few teaspoons of water to the powder and mix the two ingredients together to make a smooth and thick paste.
Use a Q-tip to apply this paste on your pimples and spread it evenly so that a whole pimple is covered. You can use your fingers as well.
Leave the paste as it is for about 15 minutes until it dries up completely and makes a thin layer.
Wash off the paste using lukewarm water and a damp cloth. Pat the skin dry with a clean new towel.
Repeat this remedy two to three times in a week to get rid of stubborn pimples in about a week.
Aspirin and water seem like a very easy remedy to treat pimples but it actually is harmful to the skin if used too much. Aspirin is a blood thinner and applying it on the skin allows it to get absorbed in the bloodstream so use it judicially.

2. Lemon Juice and Aspirin

How To:
Crush the aspirins into a powder like the previous remedy.
Substitute the water with freshly squeezed lemon juice to make the paste.
Apply this paste on your face and then massage the skin for about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to wash your face before applying the paste so that you don’t trap in any dirt or bacteria.
Let the skin absorb the aspirin and lemon juice for about half an hour or so.
Take a washcloth soaked in water water to remove the paste from your face completely.
Use this trick three times in a week to treat a pimple very quickly.
Lemon juice adds up to the benefits of aspirin. It has natural bleaching and exfoliating properties which clears up the pores of our skin from any dust or dirt and prevents the pimples from spreading as well as occuring.
